UPDATE: Effective March 1, 2022, the Library will follow CDC and State and local Health Department guidelines regarding COVID-19: People may choose to mask at any time. People with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 should wear a mask. This will remain in effect as long as Nassau County is considered a low transmission area. We are happy to supply a mask if you would like one.
The Library is open regular hours. Come inside and look for books and other items and check them out. Librarians are available for placing reserves and reading recommendations. Seating and tables are available. Study rooms are open. First come, first served.
Copying and scanning are available. Computer stations are available for a one hour session, with an additional hour, if no one is waiting.
As always, our priority is keeping both patrons and staff safe during this time while continuing to provide Library services. For the public and staff’s safety, we had MERV 13 air filters installed in the HVAC system. These highly-rated filters are efficient in filtering bacteria, smoke and other contaminants.
Curbside Service is still available 10 am – 4 pm, Monday through Saturday.
