
A gifted Black cello prodigy named Curtis Wilson seems destined for greatness—performing with the New York Philharmonic—until his father’s entanglement with a ruthless cartel forces the family into witness protection, stripping Curtis of his music and identity, and ultimately compelling him, his father Zippy, and Larissa to harness their talents (including Curtis’s music and a comic‑book persona, the “Dark Maestro”) to take down the criminals threatening them and reclaim their lives.
