Twin sisters Clara and Dempsey, long estranged since their mother mysteriously vanished and placed them for adoption, are forced to confront their pasts when Clara encounters a woman who appears to be their mother, unaged and childless, leading to a clash of beliefs and a reckoning with identity and sacrifice.
