Mission Statement
The mission of the Rockville Centre Library Friends is to provide additional funding to supplement the Library Budget. This funding will allow the Library to schedule additional free programs, free museum passes and purchase updated equipment.
Through our fundraising efforts and membership, we are able to secure funding to continue our mission to help the Library provide free programs, free museum passes and use of Library resources to all members of our diverse community.
Anytime is the Perfect Time to Join Us!
Your dues and generous support of our fundraisers enables us to support a portion of the free museum pass program as well as sponsor speakers such as Mary Calvi and Thomas Germano. We also support the Adult and Children’s Summer Reading Programs and musical concerts throughout the year just to name a few of our contributions.
If you have not used the museum passes, please explore the options online on the Library website. You can take a family of four to wonderful museums for FREE!! With your help the Friends can continue to fund these passes.
Join with us by becoming a member and help us with suggestions, ideas and volunteering for fundraising events. Simply fill out a membership form and write a check payable to RVC Library Friends or you can now pay with Venmo to: @rvcFriends. IMPORTANT: When paying for membership with Venmo, please include name, address and email address. Please indicate what type of membership: Junior $5, Senior Citizen $25, Individual $30, Family $50, Supporter $100, Sponsor $150 or Patron $200. Membership forms are also available at all service desks in the Library. Your membership dues are tax deductible! We would love to welcome you to our meetings.
